At this point in time, I don't see any personal reason for me to keep this site going.

I recognize there are several people who continue to utilize it daily for their collecting needs.

So.. I will entertain offers to purchase the site, which consists of:

- The domain www.juangone.com
- The forum software vBulletin
- The software that I wrote that powers the collection
- The database that make up the collection
- The filesystem which holds all of the photos.

Upon purchase, you will need to transfer the domain name to your ownership. You will need to purchase a hosting service to transfer the website to your system. I would suggest the company that the site is currently with, mddhosting.com. The plan I am using for this site costs $76.50 a year.

For a fee, I can handle all of the above for you and for another fee, I can continue to handle any problems that may arise. That said, the site never has problems.

As the owner, you will have full and complete control over everything here.

So your cash outlay is:

- Pay me for the site. Based on the price, I will handle all of the moving for you.
- Pay the hosting fees at $76 a year
- Pay the domain yearly renewal fee at $15 a year

So you can see that I have been paying $90 a year for this site, which makes no money for me since I have never put advertisements up. The forum software originally cost $135 and I spent many, many hours writing the collection software.

I love the site and would love to have it continue... That being said, I'm not a computer guy so me running it is not a good option at all... I'm more the willing to contribute cash flow to keep it going...

P.S.
I do not know if you have ever visited FCB but this collector site is legendary!

What I should do is rewrite the collector site and allow any players.

.. and then charge a membership fee.

So status quo for now to see if I get any traction on rewriting the website to support multiple players. If I do, we will start with the other players that you guys collect to get it going. If it ever happens, you guys will never have to pay anything.

It wouldn't take me all that long to rewrite it but I do this all day long at work so my time and energy to do it on my own time is low.

I collect Aramis Ramirez and Dereck Lee and Ryne Sandberg. I would still like to give you some $ for your time and you should also use adds! I know a lot of player collectors from FCB that would love to have a site like this to showcase their collections.

I would be willing to pay an annual fee to help keep the site going. It would be a shame to see this go away.

Just wanted to let everyone know, I sent a "donation" to Freddie to keep the site alive... It was in an amount that if 3-4 other collectors match I'm hoping Freddie will continue to serve us, which is really what he is doing as he no longer collects... Everyone says it's the best card collecting site around, let's do our part to make sure it stays that way!!!

Yeah,I have absolutely no problem with contributing funds to keep it going. This blows the balls off of everything else IMO,since it revolves strictly around Gonzalez cards. Please let me know how I can help!

I just paid $76.50 for another year of web hosting for the website.

Despite the expressed interest in keeping the site going as is, Kevin is the only person to have donated.

The fact that I knew I had to make this payment was the reason I was considering just pulling the plug.

I have been thinking about starting on the site rewrite to support multiple players and even multiple subjects, example something like funko POP vinyl or beanie baby type things.

Give me feedback on features that you would like to see.
