well I have about decided to possibly sell some nice jerseys of Juan Gone.. all with COAs from the major authenticating firms.

unfortunately cash is a little tight right now, lost a ton in the stock market and have a lot of medical bills that the wife and I are paying on.

the bgs will not sell well! i sold 2 Manny Ramirez topps rookies on ebay the bgs 9.5 was a no sale at 19.99! the psa got in the mid 30's also a Juan reverse neg bgs 9.5 x 4 went just over 100 and the last psa was well over 400. here is another one i sold a bgs 10! ROOKIE OF Mike Young for 40 and the psa went for 32! i will no longer buy bgs!

i am not done! the week before IKE hit gas was $3.29 a gallon!
oil was $122 a barrel! 2 days before IKE hit gas went to $4.10 a gallon,oil was $118 a barrel! almost 1 buck in 2 days! now oil is at $80 A BARREL AND DROPPING!!! the lastime it was that low gas was $1.86 a gallon!!! they have no problem raising gas when someone farts! but take their sweet as time to adjust it lower! i just can not wait to see the oil company's next quarter profits! sorry if I upset anyone. That certainly wasn't my intention, and those who have dealt with me in the past know I don't make it a habit to end auctions early (I hate it when people do that).

anyway.. here is why the auction was ended. I got this email from the individual that sold me most of my stuff. I did my homework and decided that he was correct. I didn't want any bad feedback from a buyer, and didn't want to misrepresent the item.

I have a home white game used jersey from 1998 from Grey Flannel. Also, Juan only wore size 44 jerseys during his rookie season of 1989. He wore size 48 jerseys in 1998. I will be listing 6 jerseys this week, all with LOAs and I have emailed a list with photos to James so I don't list it improperly. He is the authority on these as he had over 30 at one time, including an All-Star jersey which I'd LOVE to have.

I knew it wasn't a '98 jersey from the colors. It is from 2002 or 2003. Also the official jerseys were made by Rawlings not by Majestic. It is simple a signed replica.

I paid good money for it unfortunately. ASI didn't authenticate it properly (I will be in touch with them- they listed it as a 1998 on the cert unless someone switched the sticker on the jersey).

Didn't mean to mislead, that's why the auction was ended. I have plenty of 100% legitimate jerseys with PSA and grey flannel letters. I will be listing some soon.

Even though you never responded to my post above, I want to add one more thing. You might want to snipe your auctions, either manually or with a free site like auctionstealer.com or esnipe.com...

saves a lot of money as opposed to getting into "bidding wars" with other people. Lots of people still proxy bid, but I can't understand why frankly.
Sniping is the only way to go.

i paid over $100 in an ebay auction,he sent me a card that was just plain trash!!!! had 2 very bad crease's and the boarders were outragiously bad! it was not even the same card in the scan! you could tell by the autograph placement.he did refund my money.weeks later! said "it does not matter the condition of the card because of the rarity!" NOT! that was not the point! i do not care what it is i will not bid or buy any more! Honor is what every thing is about!

You are the one with tons of negative FB on eBay, not me. :D Six in the past 12 months alone. Seems like you have a pattern of quick negging and problems with all kinds of transactions...

Here are just the past 12 months, but there were around 60 NEGATIVES total. Seems you have more problems than just a $3 mirror gold. You like mirrors, why don't you look in one instead of pointing fingers?

Most of your negs are because you don't understand how ebay operates. If the shipping is listed at $4, then you should have NO ISSUES if the card arrives as described. You shouldn't turn around and NEG because you think the shipping is too high. Sellers have many more costs than just postage, and if you don't like the S/H than don't bid on that auction.

You deserved all the negs you got back for that, I didn't read the others because frankly there were too many! It's a shame eBay changed the system and prevented sellers from negging buyers, because in your case, it would show a pattern of a CONSISTENTLY PROBLEMATIC BUYER.

as for my bid history........ I have won thousands of cards over many years and this is true. I will leave anyone who charges $2+ to ship and then ships in a 1 cent envelope unless they state it in their auction. of the 60 times this has happened, most of given me retaliation negatives which I could care less about. over 50% of those guys have been kicked off ebay anyways. New Ebay rules cater to the buyers and it should be that way. Now that the new rules have been set up, sellers go out of there way to make sure they send quickly and mail safely. I hope the go exclusively to paypal to protect us further. I also hope they penalize sellers for canceling bids.

As the voice of reason, and also as an accountant, I can assure you that you do not loose money when the stock market is either up or down. You only loose money when you sell a stock or real estate for less than you paid for it. If you do not manage your money someone will do it for you at your expense.
