I have decided to switch my collecting loyalties over to Ivan Rodriguez. It is so much easier w/ Pudge. I can pick up cards number to 25 or less for usually less than $4...including s/h!!
The average price I have paid for the 10 or so 1/1s I have is about $15!!
Ironic too is the fact that Pudge has had a much better career that Juan. He is certainly a Hall of Famer whereas Juan doesn't have a prayer of getting in.

I don't know about Pudge being a hall of famer. I think he may have sealed his fate when he said "Only God knows" when responding to the question of "Are you on the list of 104 players who tested positive".

If you include the 1/1s then Pudge has just under 7,000 different cards. Not really that much more than Juan.

I'd rather keep my collection intact than sell it off in pieces. It's all or nothing for me!!

Besides, even to buy just the ones you need would cost you a small fortune!!

Mike, I feel the same way. I have always collected another player besides Juan. Rusty Greer & Hank Blalock have been easier to obtain over the years as the competition isnt as strong. I cant believe there are not some Pudge collectors still going strong though. You can get some really cool cards of current players though as there is so much stuff out there. I have been able to amass over 150 1/1 Blalocks w/o breaking the bank.

I did a quick scan and I have well over 100 cards that you need, but as I added up what it would take to buy them from me I was at about $6,000.

Mike,
You will be back into the Juan Gone fold. It must be the swine flue in Texas that is making you delusional. Don't sell or you will have a very rough time to reacquire what you alread had.
