Here is my summer of baseball:

May 23rd - Rangers @ Astros - Minute Maid Park - My son got Josh Hamilton to sign an authentic All-Star jersey from 2008. Awesome!!
July 18th - Tigers @ Yankees - NEW Yankee Stadium - Just going up for the weekend to see the game.
July 29th - Royals @ Orioles - Camden Yards - My first time to the house that Cal built.
August 7-9th - Baseball Hall of Fame - Cooperstown, NY - Never been, but I doubt three days will be enough to see everything.
August 10th - Tigers @ Red Sox - Fenway Park - Another first for me.
Sept 13th - Rockies @ Padres - Petco Park - Again, another first for me.
If you include the 3 Rangers games I have already been to, then I will visit 6 different stadiums this season and if you add in Cooperstown...well, let's just say that it is a dream summer for me!!!

Very cool Mike...I've been to Fenway,Camden, and saw Yanks and Sox in new stadium earlier in the year...am also going to hit Citi Field in late Aug...Always been a goal of mine to hit all stadiums in my lifetime but have never been to west coast and have only been to maybe 15-20 different parks including a few that are no longer around...you will also have a blast at the "Hall" I was there about 10 yrs ago and want to go back without a doubt one weekend is not long enough to see everything...Have Fun...if you got time look me up i'm only bout an hour from Yankee Stadium...

Going to a Yankee's game is different than any other stadium. The fans are much more attunded to the game and how the game is played. You will not see Yankee fans leave early. What a great experience.

I like Boston a lot. I have been there quite a few times.

I went to Cooperstown. Very interesting town but in the middle of no place and it takes a long time to get there. Everyone should see Cooperstown at least once before they croak. The hall of fame will blow you away with the memorabilia they have.

Yankee Stadium was great!! Sabathia v. Verlander. A-Roid homers. Mariano closes it out. Yankees win 2-1. Here are some pics:

Actually...that was intentional. I want to experience EVERY stadium and the Yankees are one of them. It was very cool, but Yankees fans are nuts.

Here is Camden Yards. Beautiful park. The game was delayed by rain for almost an hour, but I didn't care. It was great.

Well, my summer of baseball fun is almost over. My wife and I got back about a week ago from Boston and Cooperstown. You will be happy to know that Juan is in the Hall of Fame twice. He has two bats on display. One is in a display for Latin American players and another in the small display for the Texas Rangers. I have attached pics.

Overall the Hall and the village of Cooperstown are both fantastic!! If you haven't been I would absolutely suggest that you go. Cooperstown sits on the tip of Lake Ostego and it is just quaint and gorgeous. The main street is lined with Baseball card shops that have a ton of memorabilia and old stuff. The only bad thing is that it is really slanted towards the Yankees, Mets and Red Sox.

Then we went to Fenway and saw the Red Sox play the Tigers. The experience of Fenway is incredible, but the place overall is a dump. All in all though it was very cool. The fans are insanely passionate about their team and I have never heard anything like the crowd singing Sweet Caroline in the bottom of the 8th inning. All I can say about that is "Wow."

Check out the pics.
