I am going to my first World Series game today. It has been a long time coming for the Rangers and it is finally here.

I know we are in a pretty big hole so I am really hoping for a win today, but if not it is a really cool experience.

GO RANGERS!!

Have a blast Mike! Definitely an exciting time in Rangers history right now. Hopefully the team will come back and win this thing.

Have fun,
Ron

It doesn't look good when we can't even score a run.

still a great time - and a great season - I loved how the fans clapped mightily for the Giants after it was over and then stayed and cheered the rangers even though we lost

Absolutely! What a great year and a huge step forward for the organization as a whole. With new, decent, ownership finally in place and plenty of money from a huge television deal, the future looks pretty bright. No question that Cliff Lee will test the free agent market (he would be crazy not to), but the Rangers can afford him. I think that Guerrero, Molina, and Harden are the only other free agents. After coming so close this year, I can only imagine how hungry the players are going to be for a championship moving forward. After so many years of agony, this club is in great shape right now. I can't wait for next year!

Vald had a team option for 1 year, $9 million but the Rangers delined it. They have said they will entertain bringing him back but not at that amt. He really wore down over the season and played badly in July and August. He showed signs in Sept but a lot of that was against call-ups instead of everday starters. we all saw how bad he was in the playoffs. He did have the one big hit to win Game 6 and send the Yankees to the golfcourse. That was it! Benji will most likely retire.

I would love to have Cliff back but at 33, not more than a 4 year deal. I offer him 4 years, $80 million + incentives for wins of 18 or more for an additional $5 million for a total of $100 million. If he doesnt take it, he walks and Nefti is a starter w/ Ogando as my closer.
