Mike, are you happy that Pudge is coming home?

Damn, is he going to retire after this year? Is this his swan song?

I am elated. And just in time for the stretch run. It will surely energize the fan base.

Heard his interview on the way to work tonight.....He's says he'd like to play for another 3 yrs, and he feels good right now. Pudge did mention tho, he'd finish his career in Texas.

Check out these two Pudge cards I just got. I had to pay over $50 for each one, but man are they cool.

I don't see how they would make a Texas card with 6 players and one of those not be Juan Gonzalez.

I have now accumulated more 1/1s of Pudge in the year and a half I have been collecting him (13) than I have in the 15 years I have collected Juan.

And I probably only paid an average of $15-20 each for the Pudges.

i hope so! how many topps moments and milestones 1/1's are there? one card,one year,there are prob,1/3 of all Juans combind! i have been collecting Blalock for six days and have 6-1/1's of him! the highest was on ebay at $10.50. anyway.

Amazing...I pick up Pudge's really cheap all the time and then you see an auction like this and it makes you scratch your head.

I know that there is a serious contingent of patch collectors out there, but that was a little high for that card.

By the way, I am up to 20 Pudge 1/1s, over 300 game used cards, and well over 2,000 different all together.

Pudge update since collecting Juan has gotten really ridiculous.
