2001 toops archives future rookie reprints
 

while i was listing my cards tonight i came across a gold bordered varation of this card and noticed that it wasn't on the list. does anyone have any info on this card?

There are actually three versions of that card. One is the regular one, where the Topps Archive emblem is gold foil. The second is a Chrome type version called reserve. The third is yours with the border in gold foil. I do not know what it is officially called by Topps, but on my personal list I call it Topps Archives Future Rookie Reprints Gold Border.

It is possible that one version is a retail version and the other a hobby version.

That is my take on it.

thanks, i'm sure i could find out what it was if ebay didn't archive all you past buying so you couldn't see it anymore. but i guess that's just too much to ask.
