Juan Gonzalez Game-Worn, Signed Rangers Cap
High Bid: $98 Auction Closed: 12/9/2005 During his tenure with the Texas Rangers, Juan Gonzalez was an RBI-producing machine. The Herculean slugger also possessed a deadly power swing, which led to a pair of AL MVP Awards. Gonzalez put moderate use into this [size] "6 7/8" Rangers cap. Both the sweatband and the underside of the visor exhibit stains. His number "19" is written in black marker under the brim. The highlight of this piece sits on top of the brim, where Gonzalez signed his name, number, and "M.V.P. 96 98" in black felt tip ("9"). |

Juan Gonzalez Game-Worn Rangers Cap
High Bid: $98 Auction Closed: 10/20/2005 How much use did Juan Gonzalez put into this hat? Well the entire cap is loaded with sweat stains. The button on the inside of the [size] "7 1/8" hat has rusted from salt contact. "19" is written into the on the inside in black felt tip and the bottom of the "T" on the front has turned to a shade of purple from excessive sweat. A classic hat which shows tremendous use from a borderline Hall of Famer. |

Juan Gonzalez Game-Used Bat
High Bid: $146 Auction Closed: 9/29/2005 The significance of this uncracked Juan Gonzalez gamer is that he used it in the 1993 season, when he paced the A.L. in home runs (46) and slugging percentage (.632). His Ranger uniform number ("19") is written in black marker on the knob. The flame-burned Rawlings 225A model is 35 inches in length and 32 ounces in weight. The handle shows light pine tar, while the barrel reveals ball and bat-rack blemishes. |
