Just amazing!
Simple solution to a complex issue. I believe this is the right way to go.

You can't compare a production baseball card and an uncut sheet to a magazine panel and a card cut out of that panel.

let me hear your argument on what the difference is? was the mag panel produced of did it just come out of thin air? yah, yah, yah. i do not make sense. BUT NONE OF YOU STATE YOUR CASE! EVER! it is like ya'll are the goverment what i say goes! right or wrong! also take a REAL good look at that 92 full sheet, and you tell me how the hell can you get such a HUGE BORDER ON THE so called OVER SIZE PROOF! from that PRODUCTION SHEET!my 92 over size proof border is over 5/8 inch wide all the way around, the border between the cards on the sheet is 1/2 wide.so like some people say that the over size proof's were from a full sheet AND CUT OUT are WRONG!!!! SO THOSE OVER SIZE PROOF'S CAME OUT OF THIN AIR ALSO! PLEASE FORGIVE MY RANT I HOPE NO ONE IS AFFENDED BY IT. I JUST LIKE TO DEBATE!

It’s the momma theory! A couple of years ago you had brought up a point and a good one about the 1994 superstar samplers. They were on the list as individual cards (Bowman, Finest, and Stadium Club) as well as the Topp’s package that they come from. That is the first time I gave the momma theory any thought. Another one would be the Hamburger Helper card. As a collector do you want the card or the unopened box of Hamburger helper sitting on a shelf? It’s really up to the collector and their preferences and maybe storage room. I have plenty of space and have several uncut sheets along with magazines with cards in them through out our home. That is because I enjoy knowing where the card came from that is in my collection as I always have the card ( correct size ) in my collection books. I enjoy seeing and collecting the Pintos of Juan’s as they are unique as they were created to be a collectable not an after thought. ( oddballs ) Having a larger proof, panel, magazine or sheet is much like having a back door press plate. They have to exist to make the final product but nothing more then the momma to create the end product. I enjoy having the pictures added to the card, coin or whatever to show the family tree but everyone knows that everything has a momma!

so I went to the Rangers fanfest yesterday and picked up several magazines with Juan on them. I had 12 before yesterday and doubles my collection in one day. at some point, I will get my scanner going and get pics of all the stuff. I also bought two uncut Mothers Cookies team sheets (1991 & 1992). The were in an acrylic holder with a hook on the back so i bet they were in some office at the ballpark. i dont care if it gets listed or not. I just thought it was a cool find. has anyone seen these b4?

I almost hit the motherload while I was there. If you have been to the ballpark b4, you have seen these 16 ft by 4 ft wide banners all over the ballpark. They were also selling these but did not have the Juan for sale. That would have been a great piece. I did buy the Rusty Greer one and was happy about that.
