Juan Collector Convention

Some day Juan will be inducted to the Texas Rangers Hall of Fame. His number might also be retired by the Rangers. What do you think about having a Juan Collector Convention when it happens? Just a crazy thought.

Do you ever come back to the Metroplex?

I thought this would be a good thread to resurrect since the idea of collector's getting together has come up recently and because there are so many more people on the site now than when it was first written.

Any ideas?

Because of health, I have a bad ticker, and cost I don't travel much anymore. I go to the national bowling torney's once a year. Reno last year, Corpse Christi the year before and Albert..something, NM next year. I go to Mertle Beach, SC because my wife say's so in October as well. If a special event of Juan's would come up I might concider it though.

I would be interested as well if we could tie it in to a larger event, like a Rangers homestand, an Arlington Tristar show, or maybe even The National some year.

I think it would be cool, get to meet the cool people from the site, plus mabe get some cards I dont have would be great!

i live all the way in Washington state so i dont think i could make it to a convention but it would be cool to talk juan all day for sure i really cant do that here
