1993 Elite File / Promo Juan Gonzalez

non-jumbo. Just a heads up that I'll be putting it on ebay for offers in the next couple of weeks. Anyone seen the non-jumbo of Juan before?

Can't wait. I'll see the worth of the jumbo that I have. But will also be looking to add this to my collection as well.

That is going to go for a lot of money.

nosterbor 06-27-2012 04:15 PM

Slots will win it . i wont waste my time.. I offered $100 and no responce. I would say if it were at auction that started at 99 cents it would go for about $250 max.

jjt111 06-27-2012 06:03 PM

Good, then it would be in my collection!

RustyGreerFan 06-27-2012 06:43 PM

Sorry for the non-reply, nosterbor.

In my defense, I had just asked you two questions hoping you would share your valuable experience. Instead of answering my questions you offered me $100.

But I did get some valuable input and advice from mcabee, and I've appreciated the feedback in this thread. Thanks guys!

I would have bid $150 before I sold my collection - to be that old and never come up is pretty incredible - Jonas, did you hear the story of the jumbo like this and how it came about?

mcabee2 07-03-2012 09:21 PM

I wonder if it was a card that Donruss sent to Beckett to use as a pic in their magazine?

nosterbor 07-04-2012 04:37 PM

i would have done over $300 before i started sell my collection off. there will be 2 serious bidders and thats it. Still waiting for it to hit the bay.

mcabee2 07-06-2012 08:30 PM

we know... then you would have bid $275 for the 2nd and 3rd ones....

RustyGreerFan 07-09-2012 03:04 PM

Okay - I put it up! Heck, for some of the prices being thrown around, why not just hang onto it? I had a 1998 Team Pinnacle Mirror Gold Cal Ripken in my hands for about two weeks before selling it for $500-something. Always regretted it. Anyway, it's fun just to show off some 90's super sweetness!

nosterbor 07-13-2012 03:44 PM

SO....what did it go for and to whom? Or just ended because the offers were to low. Interesting.

mcabee2 07-13-2012 08:41 PM

it didnt officially sell thru ebay

RustyGreerFan 07-18-2012 02:21 PM

It's in the registry now :)
