Why do you still use this site to track your collection?

It's quite old now, tech wise. Has no mobile app. There must be many other options out there for tracking collections now.

I am asking because I am deciding what to do with it.

• I could leave it going as it is until something breaks and it no longer functions.
• I could update it somewhat to make it a little fresher.
• I could really move on it and build more into it and support other players.

The last option is really intriguing to me but I don't know the current marketplace and where I could fit in.

I could envision setting up a new forum where each tracked player had their own forum. I would ask for as much feedback as you had as to better support what your goals are when using this site.

Maybe you want to add your own photos? Want to track each card's purchase information. Want to know what you have in PSA 8, BGS 10, Ungraded, etc. An easier way to mark items for sale and trade. Follow a card to receive an update if someone adds on to their collection. A mobile app for managing your collection.

End of the day, it would have to offer something that you can't get anywhere else as I would need to capture a good amount of other player collectors so that I could turn this into a profit opportunity.

They want $250 a year. 5 bucks for each card year.

Do you know how many hours I have invested in taking scans of cards and uploading them to this site?:eek::eek::eek: and everyone else for that matter? Plus, there is no other site like this one

I do not text nor do I ever use any mobile APPS. I am just old school.

I realize that you have invested an immense amount of time here.

I?m looking for reasons to move forward with supporting more players and adding features while duplicating these forums for individual players.

There has to be solid reasons to do it though. Have to provide solid reasons that people would want to come here and track their collections over other options.

Speaking only for myself, I strictly only collect Juan so other player collecting sites would be of no interest to me. That being said I have seen other PC sites and this one blows them all away. Like Rob I’m not too computer savvy and this site is so easy to use.

I know a lot of guys who collect other players and they frequent this site for references. I would imagine others would pay for a site like this for their PC guys. The friendships and competition that were created with this site makes it all worth using. Hopefully we can keep it going as more and more of the OGs are getting out of the hobby.
