I was recently looking at other top players on beckett.com and I was amazed at how many cards certain players have. Here is a sampling of what I found...

And remember, the Beckett lists are not even close to complete.

wow! just think,you can get I-Rod 1/1 cards for 10 bucks!? what has he avg the last 4 years? age 35 thru 38 4 years .270-11-53 he should have retired 4 years ago! Fisk had greater numbers than that in his 40's. Ivan's numbers are going to be GREATLY diluted the longer he plays. Fisk numbers form age 40 thru 43 4 years were .270-16-65. and even more,his numbers at the same age as Ivan were .242-24-73. here is another stat Ivan ranks 8th all time in grounding into double plays!!! Fisk ranks 81st! Juan ranks 184th. sorry but to me Ivan is way OVER Rated! here is another stat. Ivan has 362 more at bats already than Fisk!!! Holy Cow! and he is still 80 hr and 280 rbi's behind Fisk!!!!!!!! WOW!!!!!!!! Yes you are very lucky you still ALMOST collect Juan!

I would love to buy Juan stuff!! Unfortunately I cannot find anything I need at a price I am willing to pay!!

For example, Chris has a lot of great stuff that I would love to add to my collection. I am just not going to pay what he wants to sell them for. He has every right to ask for what he thinks is reasonable and I have every right to say no.

I am a collector first and foremost. I am going to take the path of least resistance and get the most bang for my buck. If that means spending more money on Pudge than Juan then so be it.

Again, if there was cheap Juan stuff that I needed available I would be buying it!! That just isn't the case right now.
