JAYSON STARK IS A #### HEAD! lets rip his hamstring not once but twice and after the 2nd tell him to run full blast to first! I WILL EVEN GIVE HIM 2 YEARS TO RECOUP! and a major player in the Mitchel report? he was in one paragraph!!!! i guess i have ANGER ISSUES! lets give him a lvr "least valued reporter" i never did like him,and now it is even worse! what a little nerd! to sit behind a desk and knock people,he does it all the time! what a load of CRAP!

Rob, you have repeatedly demonstrated that you have anger management issues. However, what about the Pete Rose scandel for gambling? What about Barry Bonds scandel for steroids? What about Roger Clemmons lying to Congress? The logical answer, as Tiger Woods has demonstrated, is that sports writers are not going to piss of a major player they want to interview. The reality is that Juan has a bad disc and truly is injured or Tony Baldwin would not have sold his collection of Juan related items. There is no doubt that Juan Gonzalez wanted to hit 500 dingers and it was not for the money.

and what did he do? how about Carl Palvano "i think his name is spelled wrong" 4 years $40+mil 8 wins for the Yankees. i could go on and on. fact is Stark never liked Juan. Jim Rome always bad mouths him too.the guys are just like that to get a press story, at whatever cost.they NEVER HAVE PLAYED BASEBALL.i called in to Jims show one time after Juans 1 at bat for the year with the Indians.Rome was blasting him for what a wip Juan was.i blasted him for being a wimp that he never Played anything in sports and who he thought he was? i got hung up on after 20 sec. the next caller dumped on him for hanging up on me.and he got hung up on also.then he went to a break and came back and changed the subject! i never will have any respect for those 2 jerks. I'd just like to say this - but before I do let me make it clear that I am a Jeff Bagwell fan and have absolutely nothing against the man. This example is only to point out how ridiculous this award going to Gonzalez really is. Jeff Bagwell made $53,369,019 from 04-06. During which he hit .263 totaled 30 HR and 108 RBI. This is not an average, these were his total stats! And he didn't even step foot on the field in 2006! Gonalez had better numbers than that in the 2001 season alone and made nearly 7 million less over the entire decade than Bagwell did in those 3 years! But everybody loves Jeff Bagwell, which is perfectly fine, this is just another example of people in the media picking on Gonzalez because of some personal bias.
